內薰

(內薰, 内熏)

Inner censing; primal ignorance, or unenlightenment; perfuming, censing, or acting upon original intelligence causes the common uncontrolled mind to resent the miseries of mortality and to seek nirvana; v. [lang id =1028]起信論 Awakening of Faith.

眾生心中， 皆有本覺之真如， 此本覺之真如薰習無明， 使妄心厭惡生死的痛苦， 而祈求涅槃之快樂， 此情形謂之內薰。 至於佛菩薩的一切教法， 以及行者自身的修行， 都叫做外薰。
